Aurora is my very first attempt at at sort of sci-fi galaxy, which I made for my gf..
Took me a day or so to complete this, experimented a lot with blending modes and such.
Think I'll continue to make images like this and see how it turns out

Used:
Adobe Photoshop
Apophysis and ApoMac
A couple of stock photos

I really hope you like it.

Nice start so far man

I especially like the comet! What could be better? hmmm First of all, there can't be stars in front of a planet. You should delete them. A second point is the lightsource. All planets seem to have one common light-source, but you can't see it (although you should!). The landscape is too bright and that is why the whole picture lacks off contrast.

Nevertheless try to practise. Keept it up and good luck with upcoming pieces
